This dark chocolate bar is 75% dark, but even milk chocolate lovers would appreciate what a creamy and tender texture it has. All due to our pure raw fresh honey of course! Our honey suppliers are all independent British beekeepers based in Berkshire and Surrey. As with all our products no white, brown or coconut sugar, no stevia or any other sweeteners, no preservatives, no “nasties” at all. Perfect for people who love dark chocolate but prefer a healthier treat.
We pour honey into chocolate at a very low temperature, so as not to destroy its antioxidants, enzymes, vitamins and friendly bacteria, preserving all the healing properties that natural honey is known for.
We use unroasted raw Peruvian Criollo cacao solids, famous for their gentle taste and use in luxurious chocolate! Please note the difference in spelling, COCOA is what becomes of CACAO once it has been roasted continuously at a high temperature (a process called Dutch roasting). Unfortunately, high temperatures destroy most of the vitamins, enzymes and antioxidants. We only use CACAO (a raw unprocessed version of cacao beans) and keep our heating cycles below 38◦C, keeping it as raw as possible and giving our customers the full scope of health benefits associated with dark chocolate.
